1. Who We Are
Trucker Life AI ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application designed for owner-operators and trucking professionals. We are operated by Sarpreet Singh. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@truckerlifeai.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account Information: Email address and password when you create an account.
- Trucking Data: Load details, fuel records, maintenance logs, expense records, mileage, and IFTA data that you enter into the app.
- Voice Data: Audio recordings made through the voice logging feature. Audio is processed in real time to transcribe your logs and is not stored permanently on our servers.
- Location Data: GPS location data collected when you enable location features, used for IFTA state tracking and fuel stop detection. Location is opt-in only.
- Payment Information: Payment is processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We do not store your credit card number. We receive confirmation of payment status only.
- Usage Data: App usage patterns, feature interactions, and crash reports to improve the app.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for technical support purposes.

4. Voice Data & AI Processing
When you use voice logging, your audio is transmitted securely to our speech-to-text provider (Deepgram) for transcription, then processed by our AI system (Anthropic Claude) to extract and log your trucking data. Voice audio is not stored permanently after processing. Transcribed text is stored as part of your log entry.
4a. Third-Party AI Services & Your Consent
Trucker Life AI uses third-party artificial intelligence services. We do not send your data to these providers until you tap “I agree — allow AI features” on the in-app consent screen (shown before AI Advisor, Voice Log, or document scanning). You can decline and still use manual entry and non-AI features. You can review or revoke consent anytime under Profile → Help → AI & third-party data sharing.
What we may send (only after you agree):
- Messages you type in AI Advisor or Voice Log
- Voice audio from your microphone (for speech-to-text and spoken replies)
- Summaries of trucking records you entered (loads, fuel, maintenance, expenses, profit and mileage statistics, broker names, and similar business data)
- Photos of documents you scan (rate confirmations, fuel receipts, repair invoices, and other receipts)
- Conversation history within AI features (stored on your device)
Who receives it and why:
- Anthropic (Claude): AI chat (AI Advisor), understanding voice commands, and document OCR. Privacy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy
- Deepgram: Voice-to-text transcription and text-to-speech for Voice Log. Privacy: deepgram.com/privacy
- Supabase: Our backend securely routes requests; API keys are stored on our servers, not in the app. Privacy: supabase.com/privacy
We use this data only to operate AI features inside the app. We do not sell your personal information. Third-party providers are required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us, under terms comparable to this policy.
5. Location Data
Location access is entirely opt-in. If you enable GPS features, we collect background location to track state crossings for IFTA reporting and to detect truck stops. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings. We do not share your location with third parties except as required to provide the IFTA tracking service.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure; secure routing for AI and OCR requests
- Apple: In-App Purchase processing
- Deepgram: Voice-to-text and text-to-speech when you use Voice Log (after in-app consent)
- Anthropic: AI Advisor chat, Voice Log understanding, and document OCR (after in-app consent)
- Google: Maps and distance calculation for load mileage
Sharing with Deepgram and Anthropic occurs only after you grant permission in the app. All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us, with protection comparable to this policy.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and trucking data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance purposes.
8. Your Rights

- Export: Export your trucking data in CSV format

9. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted storage, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
10. Children's Privacy
Trucker Life AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

3. Safe Use & Disclaimer
Trucker Life AI is a logging, tracking, and financial management tool designed for use only when safely parked or stationary. NEVER use this app while operating a vehicle. Always pull over safely and come to a complete stop before logging loads, using voice features, reviewing data, or interacting with the app in any way.
By using Trucker Life AI, you agree that:
- You will never use this app while driving or operating any vehicle.
- You are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of others on the road.
- You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
- Trucker Life AI, its owners, and developers assume no liability for any accidents, injuries, damages, fines, or losses resulting from unsafe use of this application.
Use of this app while driving is strictly prohibited.
4. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- One account per person. You may not share accounts.
5. Subscription & Payment
- Free Trial: New users receive 14 days of full access at no charge.
- Pro Plan: $29/month, billed monthly. Includes unlimited access to all features.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- To cancel, contact us at support@truckerlifeai.com or cancel through your account settings.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- Prices may change with 30 days notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to store false or fraudulent business records
- Attempt to circumvent the subscription paywall
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the App
7. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimer
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate business insights, profit analyses, lane recommendations, and tax estimates. This information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or professional advice.
You should consult a qualified accountant, tax professional, or attorney before making significant business decisions. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated insights.
8. IFTA & Tax Reports
The IFTA tracking and tax report features are tools to assist you in organizing your records. They are not a substitute for professional tax preparation. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and timely filing of all required tax returns and IFTA reports.
9. Data & Your Content
You own the data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data for the purpose of providing the service. You can export or delete your data at any time.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is owned by Trucker Life AI. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trucker Life AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trucker Life AI and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
